2019 Collegiate Tournament Series Interest & Information
  • Key Log Rolling wants to help you host a log rolling tournament to be part of the 2019 Collegiate Tournament Series. Our goal is a successful tournament for both your students and students from nearby colleges/universities, as well as helping your Campus Recreation team learn how to host tournaments with additional applicability such as intramural sports, campus special events, welcome week activity, summer camp activity, and the list goes on.

    Key Log Rolling will provide: awards; competitors t-shirts; banners (to be returned); online platform to run tournament registration through; 50/50 split of registration fees (after online fees applied), resources for training log rolling officials; competition rules; results included in USA Log Rolling National Rankings; marketing support to promote tournament; tournament logistics assistance; etc. So that hosting a log rolling tournament is made simple for you and your team, and fun for the students! 

    The HOST is asked to provide: adequate pool space for competitive log rolling and seating for competitors; lifeguard supervision; a minimum of one Key Log (we recommend two); volunteers to serve as announcer (1), scorekeeper (1), runners (2),officials (3 per Key Log), tournament director (1); large dry-erase board on deck for brackets and scorekeeping; PA system for announce and music; assistance marketing the tournament on HOST'S campus and nearby colleges/universities and NIRSA Community. Host's goal is to ensure a minimum of 10 students from Host's college/university participating in the tournament.
